This photo gives an idea of the progress we have made. We practice incremental design, or rolling permaculture, depending on your precise definition, in that with our very limited resources we moved out gradually from our home base, a caravan with attached timber annex, (according to the national Park's description) sited to the north of the barn so as not to take up the space where we hope to build a permanent low energy dwelling.
